Albatross has been providing life insurance since 1983, but recent changes in the legal requirements of the insurance industry have brought about the creation of Cim Life. Cim Life will proudly continue to service the life insurance and pension clients of the former Albatross Insurance Co Ltd.

In 1995 Albatross Insurance Co Ltd launched the first unit-linked policies in Mauritius. This further included other unit-linked policies ranging from education and pensions, to income protection and endowment.

Innovation continues to drive our business development, and in August 2009 we launched the Wealth Accumulator, a suite of unit linked based investment and long-term assurance covers.

Our corporate services have also changed. Our pension solutions have evolved from the traditional defined benefit insured schemes to defined contribution schemes. With more than 120 pension schemes in our portfolio and over 30 years of experience in the local pension market, we keep striving to find new solutions to match your requirements.
